This course introduces you to various types of equity securities and their characteristics. You will learn about the characteristics of equity securities and their risk and return profile. You will also learn about the role played by equity securities in financing a firm’s assets and how book value of equity differs from its market value. Finally, you will learn about the returns investors earn by holding these securities.
